King Township is well known for it's many excellent conference centres with over-night accomodations available at most of the locations. Plan your next conference or meeting here and take in some of King's rural ambience.

King is vibrant with cultural events; Nobleton Valentine's Dance is on February 10 featuring Danny Marks. Dufferin Marsh annual Wine Tasting is on June 16th. Arts Society King scheduled events include the Kick-Off Soiree on July 15th, Studio Tour King July 21st and July 22nd and Art Workshops July 16th - July 20th . The King Museum hosts a summer concert series, and other heritage and cultural events all year long. King Swings July Music Festivals 9th season featured Jeff Healey, Danny Marks and The Good Brothers. The Annual Kingfest Music Celebration this year on June 23 & 24 will feature Prairie Oyster, with great performers being added daily. Kingcrafts celebrates 51 years of bringing artists together with a great art sale November 17,18,24 and 25, 2007.

2007 King Rural Events

King continues to celebrate rural living with many annual events. The Annual Farm Tour is on March 10th, this years theme "The Dairy Cow". The Dufferin Marsh Skate is on February 10th, Bird Walk on March 24th and the Kids Camp Out on the Marsh June 2nd. The official summer season starts with the Nobleton Victoria Day Fair and Fireworks May 21st, followed by the Schomberg Agricultural Fair May 24 - May 27. King opens it's gardens to the public with two Garden Tours, the Schomberg tour is on July 8th, and the Nobleton King City tour on July 15th.

In August enjoy the water skiing and wakeboarding championships at Summer Ski or join the private water ski club for a summer of fun. August 18 marks the 4th Annual Dragon Boat Festival at Seneca College King Campus. The 8th Annual Sprucewood International Radio Control Car Races are from August 23 - 26.

The Kettleby Fair known as the 'Biggest Little Fair in Ontario" is on Saturday, September 8. The 18th Annual Organic Advocates Feast of Fields will showcase well known chefs in Ontario, September 16. On September 22 Doors Open Ontario will once again showcase several significant heritage locations in King Township (download King 2006 Map, including churches and cemeteries (download the map.)
